As a spiritual being having a human experience my lens on life has evolved and distilled down to this:
1) Consciousness creates.
2) As I understand and direct my consciousness intentionally, I experience the power that is my true nature.
So, I’ve recently been given the opportunity to explore the difference in consciousness between surviving and thriving.
-Surviving requires us to make decisions based on what we need.
-Thriving allows us to make decisions based on what we want.
If there are places I wish to evolve further from surviving to thriving, I must be willing to embody the consciousness of one who thrives.
This means that I must be willing to make decisions based on not only what I need, but also what I want.
So, when I am giving an opportunity, for example, to accept a client who represents money (which I both need and want), I also get to explore, “Is this the type of client I *want* to work with?”
The survivor in me – of the past – would often accept any client, even if they were difficult. Who was I to turn down money the Universe was sending me so that I could survive?
But this implied that I didn’t believe the Universe would send me the clients I *wanted* to work with.
If my consciousness is one that does not *believe* I am worthy of these clients… If I do not *trust* that the natural state of the Universe is generous, loving, unconditional supply… then it is I, in consciousness, who will not allow myself to experience thriving.
AFFIRMATION: I am willing to feel worthy of thriving and experience unconditional love in it’s infinite forms, with joyful gratitude!
